Allocation
Rate cards, seats, and share-of-seat allocation — making seat-based AI spend attributable per user and feature.
The allocation view manages how non-metered spend — coding-assistant seats and credit plans — is attributed. The model behind it is explained in features, users, and allocation. This page outlines the section; it will be expanded as the view evolves.
What it shows
Your rate cards (effective-dated, since provider pricing changes), your seat inventory per tool and plan, and the resulting allocated cost per user and feature — each figure with its usage-share weight and provenance flags where a rate is estimated rather than published.
Questions it answers
Where does our Claude Code or Copilot seat spend actually go? Which users and features consume the largest share of a seat pool? Which numbers are published rates and which are documented estimates?
Main interactions
Maintain rate cards and seat assignments, inspect how any allocated figure was computed (the share-of-seat weighting), and follow allocated cost into profitability and reconciliation — where it always carries its own distinct state, never the span-matched reconciled one.
